The City of Covington and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet released crash statistics for the redesigned 4th Street entrance ramp onto northbound I-71/I-75 on Tuesday. The ramp redesign began service in December 2022, and crash figures collected by Kentucky State Police and analyzed by the transportation cabinet showed an overall downward trend in crashes.
The cabinet’s analysis assessed northbound I-71/75 traffic between Eighth Street and the Kentucky-Ohio state line. It yielded the following results:
