Publisher and Managing Editor Ed Arnold started as a contributing photojournalist for a local weekly newspaper in 1974, and had a long career as a broadcast and print journalist in Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia. A 1981 broadcasting graduate of Morehead State University, he was a Frankfort correspondent and weekend news anchor for the Kentucky Radio Network, radio news director (WKED, WFXY), and editor-in-chief and production manager of two weekly newspapers.
Ed’s Internet experience began in the fledgling days of the web (1994), and includes daily website programming for a major national presidential candidate (Forbes2000.com), website programming and production for several international manufacturers and regional businesses, including Cintas, Holland Roofing, Makino, and Cincinnati Bell, among others. For a decade and a half, he managed the infrastructure and technologies for the North American locations (NY to SFO) of an international business-to-business advertising agency.
A Charlotte native, Ed is a proud father to one, prouder grandfather to two, and is a long-time homeowner in unincorporated Boone County, Kentucky.
